Band Bio's
Joe Arenas
Rhythm Guitar, Bass and Vocals
I started my music journey later than most. A lifelong music fan, I've been making up for lost time. Live shows (both originals and covers) have been the norm from the start. "That Honey" is a continuation of that trend with good times and great music. This is the most fun I've ever had in a band! I look forward to sharing that fun with everyone that comes out to Rock with us!
Brian Bynsdorp
Lead vocals and Percussion
Brian, frontman of That Honey since its inception, feels music is the greatest unifier. A few years back, Brian was hosting karaoke, and during one fateful night, he was discovered while singing by one of his now bandmates, and the rest is history. That Honey is the first formal band Brian has been with, and he has never looked back. The fan energy is what feeds him, and his potent engagement with the crowd and focus on having a good time keeps the fans coming back. Brian works in social services, loves reggae music and the outdoors, and strongly believes in the power of unity, positivity, and tolerance.
Joe Corrao
Drums, Guitar, and Bass
Spent a majority of his childhood playing brass instruments; however, when in high school he transitioned to drums. He took a long break from drums to follow a career in the military where he started playing guitar and bass. Upon retirement, he immediately resumed his passion for drums. "That Honey" is the first performing band of his music career.
Bryce Lehman
Lead Guitar and Vocals
Bryce has been playing guitar for the better part of his four plus decades. A jack of all trades and master of none, he has performed in genres ranging from jazz to rock, country to blues, folk to metal, and everything between since his teenage years. After earning a degree in Spanish and Classical Guitar Performance, Bryce spent several years teaching guitar in his hometown of Racine, Wisconsin, playing in various local and regional acts along the way. In 2023, after a nearly 10-year hiatus from group performance, he embraced his inner drone when That Honey came calling.
Alex Ramos
Bass and Vocals
Fourth born of 11 children that are the great grand children of local musician union founder/club drummer Robert Matheson. He's played multiple instruments but bass is his favorite. He's very silly and can often be heard saying "don't take me seriously, I don't take me seriously!"
